Luminaria 2007

Scouts and Parents,

Luminaria 2007 was a huge success because of the efforts of the scouts and parents of Troop 216. During the two day event, there was a total of  71 scouts and 47 scout families shoveling sand, making kits and delivering them to homes.  3,602 kits were assembled in record time.  3,273 kits were delivered to homes and 60 were set up outside St. Michael's Church on Christmas Eve.  We have 269 surplus kits that have been put in storage and will be used in 2008.  Thanks to everyone who participated and a special thanks to Mr. L. for the fantastic job he did in planning and coordinating this event!  We are looking forward to another successful Luminaria event next year!
